Gaarde Foodsource and Service, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business offering raw product sourcing of fruits and vegetables for processors and manufacturers located in North America. We have developed relationships throughout the industry to enable us to provide you with the most reliable sources of stone fruits, apples, pears, kiwis, pomegranates and grapes, as well as vegetables. Whether your business is focused on fresh or frozen produce, juice concentrate or puree, we can find and make available the product you need to deliver superior results to your markets. We can also provide guidance in pack plan development, new and upcoming products, field quality control, managing freight and storage, and both contract and spot purchasing of product.

We began operations in March 1994, under the ownership and management of Eric Gaarde. Along with his degree in Ag Business from Fresno State, Eric brought to his new company more than 22 years experience in fruit processing in California’s fertile San Joaquin valley, and many long-term, close relationships with growers, packers and shippers of produce throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and South America.

Kim Gaarde joined the company in 2003 to provide her expertise in accounting, budgeting, and organizational development. Kim brought with her more than 20 years of experience in Ag Business, including management of growing, packing, shipping and commercial cold storage operations for stone fruit and grapes.

Gaarde Foodsource and Service, Inc. field staff log over 100,000 miles annually in our continuing focus on ensuring that our customers always receive the highest quality produce at fair market prices. We provide fruit sorting, sizing and grading services to be sure you will receive product that meets your processing needs. Our close relationship with Fruit Dynamics ensures that the full spectrum of lab analysis is always available to our customers at their request.
